Why Costa Brava

  • Costa Brava is one of the great Costas of Spain characterised by sheer cliffs, crystal clear water, lovely sand and  pebble beaches, enchanting coastal towns, wild coastal walking paths and romantic hidden calas (a small beach on an inlet). The country varies with astounding rapidity from hilly, pine-covered southern coast to rolling hills and sunflower fields in the inland. Sprinkled among it all are stone villages, monasteries and churches.
  • Costa Brava is an ideal place for a family holiday as the area boasts lovely sandy beaches, water and amusement parks and lots of different spare time acitivities.
  • Lloret de Mar is one of the biggiest and liveliest summer resorts in Spain. It has a wide choice of accommodation, numerous, bars, cafes, restaurants and the best nightlife of the area. An ideal spot for young people and those young at heart! Luckily, there are enough hotels in a quiet area outside the boisterous centre of the town, so Lloret can also be recommended for families.
  • Tossa de Mar is a small stylish resort with a quiet atmosphere about 10 km from Lloret de Mar. Tossa de Mar offers a little bit of everything. It will be difficult for you to find a place such as this, which gathers in perfect harmony thick woods suitable for long walks, with pine trees by the seaside or hanging onto the cliffs, and quiet secluded beaches caressed by a transparent blue sea, with waves breaking against the rocks.
  • Costa Brava is a perfect place to start your explorations of Catalonia. Barcelona,  Catalonia's capital, located at the Mediterranean Sea, offers the structures of an elegant cosmopolitan metropole. Barcelona has an old history, and there are monuments of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance periods or still before, but most characteristic is what has been built during the last, say, 100 years. Barcelona has been a center of Modernist architecture and is distinguished specially by the works of Antoní Gaudí.  While in the area, take the opportunity and visit all the famous places of Salvador Dali in Figueres, Pubol and Portlligat. Northern Catalonia’s largest city Girona is also worth a visit with its impressive medieval centre and Jewish quarter situated on a hill above the Riu Onyar.
