Resorts
We offer accommodation in two popluar resorts of the Algarve  Praia da Rocha and  Albufeira. Both of them boast a wide choice of hotels, lots of places to go out to and of course, beautiful sandy beaches. Paia da Rocha is situated 70 km and Albufeira 35 km from Faro Airport.  Praia da Rocha  has one of the biggest beaches in Western Algarve. Most of the night life spots, bars and restaurants are concentrated on the beach side avenue of Avenida Tomas Cabreira which makes it an easy resort  to walk around. You will find everything within a short walking distance!
Albufeira is one of the biggest and best known resorts famous for its romantic old town with narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Hotels and apartments are spread around the old town and in the new part of Albufeira with its famous night-life street the Strip. Most of Albufeira is located on hillsides, so it takes a lot of walking uphill and  downhill to reach places.

Hotels
The general hotel level is quite modest, especially within the lower categories of 2* to 3*. Starting from 3* hotels, the rooms are equipped with  air-conditioning devices that are switched on in June.   Apartments are not air-conditioned.  4* and 5* hotels are usually on a quite good level and have sufficient amount of services.
All hotels offer safety deposit boxes, the rental price varying between 2 to 7 euros per day depending on the hotel.

Beaches
In Portugal there are only public beaches with chargeable sunbeds and shades (about 4 to 5 euros per day). The beaches are with fine light or yellow sand. Please note that there are strong tides in the Ocean and sometimes small beaches may entirely be covered by water during a high tide. However, this does not happen in Praia da Rocha as the beach here is one of the widest in the Algarve. In Praia da Rocha the beaches can be accessed by stairs that might be uncomfortable for elderly people and very small children.
